Campaign Planning Study for Marymount University
Marymount University is a comprehensive private Catholic university in northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. Founded in 1950 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart (RSHM), Marymount provides a Catholic faith-based educational experience that focuses on academic excellence enhanced by intellectual and personal development. The University offers its 4,000 students a wide array of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees through its Colleges of Business, Innovation, Leadership and Technology; Health and Education; and Sciences and Humanities.
Fissinger Fundraising was engaged by Marymount University to implement a campaign planning study (CPS) based on implementing the University’s strategic plan to enhance facilities on campus and to strengthen its endowment. The CPS included an assessment of the advancement office, data analytics (implemented by Campbell & Company), engaging the with the advancement committee and the Board of Trustees, meeting with the President of the University, conducting 30 external interviews with a cross section of key stakeholders, and developing the CPS report of findings and recommendations for moving forward with a comprehensive campaign.
